It was in the 1969 that Raffaello Taddei and Massimo Manzi, at that time very young, decided to realize their dream. They built up, in Santa Croce sull'Arno , a little firm, made up of a tannering laboratory and a store.
They became agents of a quite well-know International Chemical Firm, which was Stahl: in this way Taddei & Manzi, began its activity, a firm which nowadays is one of the most important Commercial, Industrial and Assistential reality in the tanning market. But proceed with order in our story…at that time eveything was easier: for Mr. Taddei and Mr. Manzi, it was enough to go to a tannery and obtain the trust in the tannery owner, which gave them some leathers with the promise to realize something special. Taddei and Manzi, thanks to their fancy and skill, were able to create new and innovative articles which liked to their customers and which obtained success also in the leather market. This success made easier the sale of chemical products.
